I fell for a LinkedIn job scam that installed malware on my PC 😔
I applied for what looked like a legit remote job on LinkedIn. They sent me a “test assignment” in a PDF. I opened it, and within days my antivirus lit up. After running scans, I found out it installed info-stealing malware. Now I’m paranoid they may have grabbed my email logins, passwords, and even crypto wallet seeds.
How do professionals usually clean up after this? Do I need to nuke my PC and start fresh, or can the damage be undone?
